Jennifer Hudson, who concludes her run in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple May 8, was a recent guest on The Daily Show.
Hudson discussed her Broadway debut as well as her role in the forthcoming HBO film Confirmation. The former American Idol finalist also demonstrated the power of her vocals with an a cappella rendition of “Circle of Life” from The Lion King.
